Clare is a professionally qualified BACP Accredited counsellor and psychotherapist, trained to work with children, young people and adults. She has worked in many settings since 2010 – including primary and secondary schools, privately and for various charities.
Clare works integratively, bringing together different theories of psychotherapy depending on the needs of the client. She is particularly interested in the developmental stage in children and the system in which they exist (i.e. family and school) and their emotional literacy.

Amongst other things, Clare hopes to be able to help clients make meaning from what they bring to sessions to help them gain resilience and find the right words to express themselves.

She has a sound knowledge of the world of dance – primarily ballet – and the
pressures the students might encounter during their training and professional lives
as ballerinas. Clare understands the complex relationship between the love for dance and the extreme ups and downs accompanying this unique art form and offers a safe and warm space both online and in-person depending on your location and availability.
